Accessibility Statement
Our target
Motor BYR aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This statement describes what is actually implemented today, not what is planned.
Contrast
Every text color is checked against every surface it is drawn on, with transparency composited as the eye sees it. The lowest ratio in the product is 5.83:1, against the 4.5:1 that AA requires for body text.
Color is never the only signal
Scores show a band word and a shape alongside the color, so a red/amber/green distinction is never the only thing carrying the meaning. Locked values say "Locked" rather than showing a padlock alone.
Keyboard
Every control is reachable by keyboard and shows a visible focus ring. Menus, dialogs and disclosures use native elements, so Escape, focus trapping and focus return behave the way the platform does. On the pressure map the dealer dots are drawn as part of the map image; every dealer on it is also in the list directly under the map, which works with a keyboard and a screen reader, and the map itself pans with the arrow keys and zooms with + and -.
Touch targets
Interactive controls are at least 44 by 44 CSS pixels. The exception the standard itself allows is an inline link inside a sentence, which cannot be enlarged without breaking the text around it.
Motion
Motion is limited to state changes and feedback. If your system asks for reduced motion, animation and transitions are switched off.
Known gaps
The iOS app has not yet been audited for VoiceOver labels or Dynamic Type. We do not claim AA on the iOS client.
